As Istanbul Medeniyet University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition and Dietetics Community, ‘New Year's Cookie Workshop’ was held at Istanbul Medeniyet University Cevizli Campus Food Preparation and Cooking Laboratory between 10.00-12.00 on Thursday, 26 December. Students of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics participated in the workshop. In the workshop, it was shown how to prepare and bake gingerbread cinnamon Christmas cookies. The participants were divided into groups and prepared the cookies according to the recipes given at their counters. After the cookies rested for a while, they were opened to be shaped. The cookies, which were prepared by printing various moulds such as cookie man, pine tree, snowman, were decorated with glazes and packaged. As a result of the workshop, which attracted high interest and appreciation, the cookies prepared with the aim of making a happy and sweet start to the new year were served to academic staff, administrative staff and students.
